Thank you for your inquiry and interest in joining the Renegade Burrito family! We're thrilled to announce that we have started Franchising in Colorado and look to expand our footprint outside of the state in 2026!

Renegade Burrito is proud to be Colorado born and raised! We founded the concept in 2017 with a simple goal: to create a fast-casual Mexican restaurant serving fresh, made-from-scratch food in a fun, modern environment. From day one, we've been building a strong brand and business model designed for future franchise partners who share our passion for quality, service, and community.

Before starting Renegade Burrito, we owned and operated 46 fast-food and fast-casual restaurant franchises across six national and regional brands. Our franchise journey began in 1996 with Subway, where we owned and operated 35 locations over two decades. That experience gave us a deep understanding of franchising from the franchisee perspective and helped us develop the operational and leadership skills that would shape our future.

Over the years, we also became franchisees of Smashburger, Dazbog Coffee, TCBY, Yogurtini, and Big City Burrito. Each brand offered valuable insights into different business models, systems, and customer bases — all of which influenced the creation of Renegade Burrito.
